2011 Toms River Lacrosse Club Tournaments

BOYS
 

This year marks the 9th annual boys seventh and eighth grade tournament and will take place on Sunday, May 1st, 2011 at RiverwoodPark in TomsRiver, NJ.  This year we are limited to 18 teams. In the past years we have had teams from South and Central New Jersey, South Eastern Pennsylvania and, as far away as, Maryland. Interest in this event has been overwhelming and as a result, teams will be entered on a first come basis.  The entry fee is $300 and will go toward the tournament expenses.  Based on an eighteen-team turnout, each team will have four or more games.  Tournament Championship tee-shirts will be awarded to the tournament winners.  Prizes will be given to winners of a fastest shot contest, which players will have an opportunity to participate in during their bye game and a face-off competition, which will be held during the extended lunch period.  Lunch will be provided for the players and coaches of each team by the Outback Steakhouse. 

Lunch for family and friends will once again be limited so we strongly encourage each team to take advantage of pre-paid meals for family and friends attending this event.  Tournament Tee-Shirts will also be available to all at the pre-paid price of $10.00 or $15.00 per tee-shirt at the event. 

GIRLS

The Toms River Lacrosse Club will be sponsoring the 8th annual Outback Shoot-Out on Sunday June 5th, 2011. This is a girls youth lacrosse tournament.  Last year we hosted 10 teams from all over New Jersey and South Eastern Pennsylvania.  This year we are looking to expand to 18 teams. Interest in this event has been overwhelming and as a result teams will be entered on a first come basis.  The entry fee is $300 and will go toward the tournament expenses.    Based on a ten or eighteen team turnout, each team will have four or more games.  Tournament Championship tee-shirts will be awarded to the tournament winners.  Prizes will be given to winners of a fastest shot contest in which players will have an opportunity to participate during their bye game, and a shoot out, accuracy competition, which will be held during the extended lunch period.  Lunch will be provided for the players and coaches of each team by the Outback Steakhouse. 

Available at the field will be a limited number of lunches for friends and family at the price of $8.00 a meal.  Tournament Tee-Shirts will be available to all at the price of $15.00 per tee-shirt.  In an effort to keep prices down, both will be available at a discounted pre-paid price.  Meals will be $5.00 and Tournament Tee-Shirts will be $10.00 if purchased ahead of time.
